Work

The work of Creative Vice is organized around long-term frameworks rather than isolated projects. Each body of work functions as a system—developed through repetition, material translation, and sustained inquiry.

The following works represent the artist’s current and active practice, supported by selected parallel disciplines.

Inner Demons

(Primary / Ongoing Framework)

Inner Demons is an ongoing multidisciplinary body of work that visualizes internal dialogue as symbolic structure. Through painting, ceramics, printmaking, and installation, the project examines how individuals negotiate self-authority, intuition, doubt, and internal pressure.

The Inner Demon operates as a mirror rather than a character. Rooted in lived experience but not autobiographical, the work reflects the viewer’s own internal voice—inviting confrontation, recognition, and recalibration rather than instruction or resolution.

Material repetition and variation are central to the project. No two works are identical, reinforcing the idea that internal dialogue is personal, unstable, and continuously evolving. Inner Demons functions as a modular framework capable of adapting across residencies, exhibitions, and communities while maintaining conceptual integrity.

Boxed Emotions

(Painting Series)

Boxed Emotions is a focused painting series examining containment, compression, and emotional pressure. Using abstraction, constrained composition, and controlled color fields, the work explores how internal states are shaped—and often limited—by external systems.

This series operates as a parallel inquiry to Inner Demons, emphasizing restriction and form rather than symbolic figures.

NO-POP

(Painting Series)

No-Pop is a painting series that interrogates visual language, repetition, and cultural saturation. Drawing from familiar graphic and pop-adjacent forms while deliberately resisting spectacle, the work examines how imagery circulates, flattens meaning, and becomes consumed.

Rather than celebrating pop culture, No-Pop strips it of excess—reducing form, limiting palette, and emphasizing restraint. The series operates as a counterpoint within the broader practice, prioritizing reduction over amplification and questioning how recognition and familiarity shape value.

Selected works from No-Pop are available through gallery representation.

FLEE

(Conceptual / Dormant)

Flee is a large-scale, socially engaged installation project exploring migration, survival, and displacement through found materials and narrative documentation. Built from discarded objects and personal histories, the work investigates the emotional and systemic forces behind movement, loss, and resilience.

Flee is currently dormant and will be activated only when appropriate funding, institutional support, permits, and space align. The project remains a core long-term mission but does not define the artist’s daily studio practice at this time.

Fashion Design & Creative Direction

Fashion Design & Creative Direction

Alongside his studio practice, Randy Richard Morales has worked professionally as a fashion designer and creative lead. His fashion work is grounded in systems thinking, material fluency, and brand discipline—developed through leadership roles within established companies and founder-led ventures.

Fashion functions here as both a standalone professional practice and a foundational influence on the artist’s broader approach to structure, repetition, and authorship.
