"WE THE PEOPLE" (2025)

Acrylic and POSCA marker on canvas

This painting explores the idea that no challenge is too large when people choose to work together.

The larger Echo represents a problem that feels impossible to overcome alone. Rather than confronting it individually, smaller Echo figures band together, each contributing a small effort toward a common goal. What seems overwhelming from one perspective becomes manageable through collective action.

The work was inspired by the belief that meaningful change rarely happens in isolation. Whether in art, community, or everyday life, progress often comes from many people pulling in the same direction.

Although Echo was originally created as a way for me to confront my own internal struggles with self-worth and negative self-talk, this painting expands that idea beyond the individual. It asks what becomes possible when we support one another instead of carrying every burden alone.

Created with acrylic paint and POSCA markers, FAFO reflects my ongoing exploration of resilience, hope, and the invisible forces that shape the human experience.
